COVID-19

To all our amazing patients and staff: We are excited and thrilled to re-open our doors on Thursday, May 14th! The health and safety of our patients and staff will be our #1 priority, so there will be new regulations and protocols that we will all need to follow.

First and foremost, all of our staff will be equipped with all necessary personal protective equipment. Prior to your appointment, you will be pre-screened over the phone, email, or text for any existing flu-like symptoms or recent travel. We highly recommend you limit the number of people attending the clinic to just yourself, with the exception of accompanying a minor. If you have a mask or face cover, we encourage you to wear it to your appointment.

For social distancing purposes, we will be limiting the number of people in our waiting room. Therefore, we ask that upon arrival at the clinic, please advise us via phone that you have arrived. You may be asked to wait in your vehicle until we are ready to see you. At this time, there will be no books, magazines, or toys available in the waiting room in order to minimize physical contact.
When you arrive inside the clinic, you will be asked to either wash your hands with soap or use the provided hand sanitizer. Prior to your entry into the operatory, your temperature may be taken with a contactless FDA-approved forehead thermometer.

You will be then given a 1% pre-dental treatment oral rinse (shown to break down the protective outer coating of viruses).

Once your treatment is completed, there will be a contactless check out at the front desk.

A lot of this may seem cumbersome and tedious, but it is necessary to control the further spreading of COVID-19. There will likely be further regulations and guidance provided by the Alberta Dental Association and College. This may include limitations in the type of treatment we are allowed to proceed with at this time. We will provide updates as they come.

Thank you all for your understanding in these unprecedented times, with your help in following these guidelines, we can gain control over the spread of this virus (which we are all sick of hearing about!) See you soon!
